Lithium Back to Earth - Berlin Science Week / November 2023

“Lithium Back to Earth” is an innovative video art exploration that unites science and art to explore the life cycle of lithium, an element that dates back to the Big Bang and has become an essential component in our daily lives. Although lithium is known as “white gold” and is vital in energy production, its extraction entails significant social and environmental impacts. The project seeks to transform the current linear cycle of lithium into a circular one, highlighting the need for a more sustainable approach to its management and recycling.
